Kirsten Boehmer

When she fell in love with snowboarding, she decided to make her dream of living in the mountains a reality and moved to Snowshoe in the summer of 1996. "The cool summers and the crisp mountain air, along with fantastic friends I've met along the way are the reasons I've stayed in this beautiful area, and I want to help others follow their dreams by becoming Snowshoe homeowners." In 1997, Kirsten met her husband Shannon when they took the Ballhooter chairlift up the mountain together. 10 years later they were married on the mountain among friends and spectacular scenery. They built a home at the base of Snowshoe Mountain where they live with their dog, Zion and cat, Minx. In her spare time, Kirsten is also a professional photographer running www.kirstenboehmer.com and her husband Shannon is the full-time fire chief for Snowshoe's fire department - Shavers Fork Fire Rescue.
